Renting Furniture in Hyderabad: Monthly Prices and Break-Even

Renting a 3-seater sofa in Hyderabad starts at ₹8,000 a month, and a complete living room set is ₹20,000 a month. Rentals run on a three-month minimum with a refundable deposit of one month's rent. Here is the full monthly price list, what each price includes, and the point at which renting costs more than buying.

The one-month question

Many people looking for furniture rental want a single month. For a home, we do not offer one. The minimum term is three months, and shorter rentals of one to two weeks are only for events, at a higher daily rate.

So if your stay is a month, compare the three-month term against buying. A 3-seater on a three-month rental costs ₹24,000 in total. A standard 3-seater sells from ₹45,000, so for a short stay the rent is about half the purchase price, though you hand the sofa back at the end.

Rent or buy: where the line falls

Divide the purchase price by the monthly rent to find the break-even. For our standard 3-seater, ₹45,000 divided by ₹8,000 is about 5.6 months. Rent for a stay shorter than about five months. Beyond that, buying costs less, as long as you still need the sofa.

Two things shift that arithmetic. The ₹45,000 is a base price, and fabric upgrades, leather, storage or a recliner add to it. And buying keeps the piece in your home after you leave. Our sofas carry a written warranty of five years on the frame, three years on foam and springs, and one year on fabric. A rental covers wear and maintenance instead, which is why it suits short stays.

How a rental works

  1. Choose. Tell us what you need and how long you are staying. We send options and pricing within 24 hours.
  2. Delivery. Free delivery and assembly, within 48 hours.
  3. Use. The furniture is yours to use. We cover repairs and maintenance.
  4. Renew or return. At the end of the term, renew month to month at the same rate, or we collect the furniture free.

Deposit, damage and ending early

The security deposit is one month's rent. It is refunded when the furniture comes back in good condition. Normal wear is covered. For deep stains, tears or structural damage, we discuss the repair cost with you, and on short rentals it is usually small. Renewals carry no extra fees, and you can end a rental with one week's notice.

Who rents furniture

The three groups we see most are people relocating to Hyderabad for a year or so, businesses furnishing a temporary office, and households hosting an event. For the event case, the same setup and breakdown service covers chairs, tables and seating in any quantity.

Before you order

Measure the doorway, the lift and the stairwell turn, the same way you would before buying. A rented sofa has to come up the same stairs as a purchased one. Our guide to measuring for a sofa has the arithmetic.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does furniture rental cost per month in Hyderabad?

A 3-seater sofa is ₹8,000 a month, a queen bed ₹6,000, a dining table with six chairs ₹12,000, and a complete living room set ₹20,000. Every home rental has a three-month minimum term.

Can I rent furniture for one month?

Not for a home. Our minimum term is three months. Shorter rentals of one to two weeks are available for events, at higher daily rates.

Is there a deposit?

Yes, one month's rent. It is refunded when the furniture is returned in good condition.

Is renting cheaper than buying?

For a short stay, usually. A 3-seater rented at ₹8,000 a month costs about the same as its ₹45,000 base price after roughly five and a half months. Fabric upgrades raise the purchase price, so the break-even moves later.

Who handles repairs on rented furniture?

We do. Normal wear and maintenance are covered. For deep stains, tears or structural damage, we agree a repair cost with you.

Tell us how long you are staying and what you need, and we will send a quote within 24 hours. Browse the rental range, or see the sofa sets if you would rather buy.
