In most Indian bedrooms, the floor under the bed is the largest empty space in the room. A bed with storage uses it without adding a piece of furniture that needs its own footprint. That matters more in a flat where every square foot is already in use, and where the trend in interior design this year is a bedroom that does more than sleep.
How hydraulic under-bed storage works
The mattress and base lift as one platform. Gas struts take most of the weight, so you open the bed with one hand rather than lifting a mattress by hand. Our struts are rated for 100 kg. The lift is smooth and quiet, and it keeps the stored items clear of the mattress so you are not moving a mattress to reach a suitcase.
Storage suits items you reach for a few times a year: blankets in summer, quilts in winter, a spare set of bedding for guests. Put heavier things low and spread them evenly across the base.

The storage version is priced as a custom queen. The standard queen with HR foam is ₹75,000, but the page does not split out the cost of the storage base, so ask for the breakdown when you enquire.
Pick the mattress first
The mattress decides how the bed feels every night, and it is the part you replace. The frame lasts 20 years or more, while a mattress is worth replacing every five to seven years. The mattress types we build, with their price ranges:
- HR foam (most popular), 32 kg/m³ density, soft to firm: ₹22,000 to ₹28,000. Best all-round.
- Coir, natural coconut fibre with firm support: ₹18,000 to ₹22,000. Cool and durable.
- Spring and foam, 8-inch spring with an HR foam top: ₹28,000 to ₹35,000. Orthopaedic support.
- Latex and HR foam, natural latex layers: ₹45,000 to ₹55,000. The most durable and comfortable option.
The mattress covers are cotton jacquard, removable and washable. Come to the factory to lie on the firmness options before you choose. Most people prefer medium, side sleepers often choose soft, and back sleepers often choose firm.
Before you order a storage bed
- Check the clearance. The base needs room at the foot of the bed to lift. Measure the floor space and the wall behind the bed before you choose the size.
- Check the way in. The frame arrives in pieces and is assembled inside the apartment, in one to two hours, without damage to the walls. Still, measure the doorway and the lift.
- Check the wood. Our frames are solid sheesham or teak with dowel-joined 40 × 40 mm rails, so they should not wobble or sag over time.
Warranty and delivery
The frame carries a 10-year warranty and the mattress a 5-year warranty. Storage beds are built to order and delivered in seven to ten days.
